POST: ASSISTANT SETTLEMENT COMMANDANT

AGE: 23 – 35 YEARS

DURATION: 05 MONTHS (RENEWABLE)

SALARY SCALE: PROJECT SCALE

REPORTS TO: SETTLEMENT COMMANDANT

DUTY STATION: ADJUMANI, HOIMA & ARUA

NUMBER OF POSTS: 04

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE

Applicants should be a holder of an honour’s degree in Social Work and Social Administration or Bachelors of Social Sciences or Bachelors of Development Studies or Bachelor of Community Psychology from a recognised University.

DUTIES

1. Assist the Settlement Commandant in managing a refugee settlement.
2. Assist the Settlement Commandant in the reception and settlement of Refugees
3. Assist the Settlement Commandant in coordination of partners.
4. Assist the Settlement Commandant in counselling asylum seekers and refugees
5. Handle any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
