Data Centre, ICT & Assets Manager at Malaria Consortium

Malaria Consortium is recruiting for a Data Centre, ICT & Assets Manager to join our team in Kampala, Uganda.

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/Computer Sciences or related discipline.
• Good experience in the field of ICT software and hardware management.
• Good experience in the field of data and database design, administration, and usage (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, MySQL database, MongoDB).
• Good experience of data input and capture technologies (e.g., ODK, Kobo).
• Some knowledge of data analysis technologies (e.g.,Microsoft Power BI).
• A Post Graduate Degree in Information Systems Management.
• Good analytical skills.
• Good spreadsheet (Excel) and other office software skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and abilities.
• Ability to effectively manage time and resolve crises.
• Basic familiarity with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection and Privacy Act Uganda and other relevant privacy regulations.
• Willingness to learn the regulatory aspects of UK GDPR and other relevant privacy regulations (other countries)
