Minimum Qualification

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Law plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from a recognized University/Institution.

Duties

The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Legal Officer for performing the following duties:-
– Receiving complaints and giving legal advice/referrals;

– Interviewing complainants and witnesses;

– Conducting expeditious investigations and rendering investigative reports;

– Preparing Legal Memoranda;

– Assisting with the preliminary assessment of complaints;

– Maintaining an information template on complaints/advice given through the call-centre and other modes of complaints receipt;

– Following up on referrals made to stakeholders;

– Maintaining and updating the complaints database;

– Preparing regular reports on complaints received through the various modes available;

– Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
