JOB TITLE: Field Assistants

DUTY STATION: Bugiri, Bugweri, Iganga, Jinja, Kamuli, Mayuge and Namayingo Districts Key duties, responsibilities and deliverables:

The Field Assistant shall perform the following highlighted duties:  Organize case conference meetings.

 Coordinate system-strengthening interventions.

 Coordinate Sub County level field structures.

 Deliver HIV and Prevention session delivery.

 Build relationships with relevant stakeholders at the facility and community levels.  Ensure timely and quality data collection.

 Mentor, coach, and train lower-level delivery structures.

 Conduct community dialogues and outreaches closely with other structures

 Network and collaborate with relevant partners at the Sub County level for the provision of comprehensive services to OVC

 Support referral and linkage of OVCs for services to education services, and apprenticeship among others.

 Participate in Sub County level activities

 Supervise the general implementation of ICARE activities.

 Participate in Sub County planning and coordination activities

 Participate in performance review meetings, Districts, and Sub County events.

 Assist the program team to conduct planned surveys and studies

 Streamline documentation of OVC files at the facility and site level Minimum

Qualifications and experience: Should have at least a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (A’ Level) with work experience implementing project activities at the community level.
