Platinum Credit (U) Ltd is a subsidiary of Platcorp Holdings Ltd which operates as a holding company and through its subsidiaries provides emergency loans to individuals in the East African region. We are a leading Regional Micro Finance Company providing emergency loans to employed individuals in Eastern Africa with a branch network in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. Platinum Credit (U) Ltd has introduced a new product available to formally employed persons working in the Private Sector.

Job Summary:

The loan officer will be tasked with procuring sales on behalf of the company.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Present and sell company products and services to potential clients.
To achieve the loan targets as per schedule
To provide customers top-ups, refinancing or buy offs
To communicate to closely with the Branch coordinator to advise on progress and any challenges you may be facing
Establish and maintain client relationships.
Quickly respond to and follow up sales inquiries using appropriate methods.
Develop and maintain current product knowledge.
To conduct product promotion, cold calls and sales
To ensure the loan requirements are fully availed by the client and loans are compliantly submitted as per credit policy
To qualify the potential customers using the affordability calculation and the repayment schedule.
To find potential customers for our loan products, give them accurate advise as to their qualification for a loan credit policy.
Communicate new product and service opportunities and provide feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The ideal candidate must hold a Diploma or a Certificate in a Business field or a relevant field.

The applicants for the Sales Representative jobs must have at least six months’ experience preferably in a financial institution.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
