Unit Manager Packaging – Coca Cola beverages Africa

Cola Beverages Africa is the largest African Coca-Cola bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. In Uganda, CCBA is represented by Century Bottling Company Limited and Rwenzori Bottling Company Limited. We are currently seeking to recruit Unit Managers Packaging based in Kampala. As a Unit Manager Packaging, you will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager Key Purpose Statement The Unit Manager Packaging leads and supports the team so that manufacturing, quality, and maintenance targets are achieved in the most cost-effective and efficient manner.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Draw up and communicate a Business plan in line with the Company strategic objectives

• Drive WCM initiatives on the Production Lines

• Manage and support Team leaders and the teams to achieve production, maintenance, and quality targets in a cost-effective manner

• Formulate and control expense and capital budgets

• Ensure the performance management process is duly adhered to and staff supported and developed to meet performance targets

• Manage, implement and actively support change interventions and projects

• Drive the health and safety agenda as per regulatory requirements.

• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by Management

Skills, Experience & Education Qualifications

• Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field

• Added advantage: FMCG experience in milk processing Experience

• 5 years production, technical, and leadership/managerial experience in an FMCG environment

• Experience in a food/beverages manufacturing facility, especially Value-Added Dairy
