Enabel, Belgian development agency, together with different Government Ministries, are implementing the bilateral Co-operation between Uganda & Belgium.

Enabel is looking for a Portfolio Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Expert who is to support and advise on the effectiveness of its operations provide progress reports done against the stated objectives. The M&E and knowledge management Expert is responsible for appropriate monitoring, evaluation and knowledge management of the Enabel Interventions. This recruitment will also constitute a pool selection.

Major Roles and Responsibilities

The Portfolio Monitoring and Evaluation Expert will be responsible for:

• Long-term strategic plans and implementation with a view toward M&E requirements.
• Analysis of the of interventions work/operation plans and objectives, including activities linking planning with regular progress reviews and resource allocations.
• Managing the country portfolio M&E to improve portfolio quality.
• Monitoring and evaluation of the implementation progress against stated results at country portfolio level.
• Providing and coordinating the necessary technical inputs for achieving the expected intervention results.
• Ensuring knowledge building and management at country portfolio level.
• Building and strengthening the capacities of intervention M&E staff basing on the trends and changes in in M&E.

Qualification

Required:

• A Master’s Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, Quantitative Economics, International Development or but a must in a research related field.

Salary Package 

Enabel will offer a Gross salary package of between UGX 10-12 Million, Medical Insurance and a 13^th Month package paid in December. Salary is accordance to relevant work experience.
