Senior Assistant Academic job at Makerere University

Job Purpose

Support the Principal Registrar in performace of all academic matters in the University

Key, Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and appraise staff in the unit;
  2. Provide secretariat services to the Senate and its Committees;
  3. Process student results and graduation lists;
  4. Provide secretariat services to the school academic board;
  5. Assist in the coordination, preparation and generation of examination timetables;
  6. Provide guidance on gender and quality assurance;
  7. Provide custody of examination records;
  8. Assist in the processing, certification and issuance of academic testimonials;
  9. Maintain electronic and manual records of the students;
  10. Perform any other related functions as assigned by supervisor.

Required Qualifications

  1. A Master’s degree in Humanities or Education or Business Administration or Management or Masters of Science degree with a post graduate qualification in management;
  2. A Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Humanities or Sciences or Business Administration.
