Job Purpose
Provide administrative and secretarial services to the unit.
Key, Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and ensure harmonious working relationships amongst staff under his/her care;
- Oversee the creation, proper maintenance, storage, retrieval of electronic and manual records;
- Receive and make official calls in a cost effective and courteous manner;
- Establish a register for and oversee the use and maintenance of office equipment and facilities;
- Produce reports and draft general correspondences, memoranda and speeches;
- Arrange for both local and international itineraries;
- Organize and maintain a schedule for workshops, meeting and other official events;
- Provide secretarial services to the unit;
- Requisition, maintain and account for financial and other resources in the course of duty;
- Provide custody of stationery and office equipment for the office;
- Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
Honour’s Bachelor’s degree in Secretarial Studies or Office Management from a recognized institution.
