Job Purpose

Provide administrative and secretarial services to the unit.

Key, Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Manage and ensure harmonious working relationships amongst staff under his/her care;
  2. Oversee the creation, proper maintenance, storage, retrieval of electronic and manual records;
  3. Receive and make official calls in a cost effective and courteous manner;
  4. Establish a register for and oversee the use and maintenance of office equipment and facilities;
  5. Produce reports and draft general correspondences, memoranda and speeches;
  6. Arrange for both local and international itineraries;
  7. Organize and maintain a schedule for workshops, meeting and other official events;
  8. Provide secretarial services to the unit;
  9. Requisition, maintain and account for financial and other resources in the course of duty;
  10. Provide custody of stationery and office equipment for the office;
  11. Perform any other related duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications

Honour’s Bachelor’s degree in Secretarial Studies or Office Management from a recognized institution.
