We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.

Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Accountant with at least 8 years of experience in accounting, particularly within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, with preference given to candidates experienced with the ERP system – SAP. The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting the finance team in driving the company’s financial success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations and accounting standards.
• General Ledger Management: Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.

• Month-End and Year-End Close: Manage the month-end and year-end close process, including reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and the preparation of reports for management.
• Cost Accounting: Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and production processes. Ensure accurate allocation of costs and maintain cost controls.

• ERP Management (SAP): Utilize SAP ERP system to process financial transactions, generate reports, and maintain data integrity. Experience with SAP will be a key element in the selection.

• Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring financial records are complete and compliant with auditing standards.

• Tax Compliance: Support the preparation of tax filings, ensuring all tax obligations are met on time and in full.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (operations, sales, procurement, etc.) to gather data and provide financial insights.
• Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement within the accounting processes and implement solutions to streamline operations and improve efficiency.

• Mentorship: Provide leadership and support to junior accounting staff, ensuring a high level of accuracy and professionalism in daily tasks.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, with significant experience in manufacturing environments.

• ERP Knowledge: Advanced proficiency with SAP ERP system is preferred. Experience with other ERP systems may be considered.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide clear, actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to management.
• Attention to Detail: A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial processes and reports.
• Certifications (Preferred): CPA or equivalent professional certification is a plus, but not required.
