Description
JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. (JSI), an international public health management firm, is seeking a Regional Program Manager for the USAID-funded Targeting the Learning Crisis (TLC) Activity in Uganda. The role focuses on overseeing program activities in the region, ensuring effective coordination, implementation, and monitoring of activities to meet program objectives.
Responsibilities
• Lead the regional implementation of TLC activities, ensuring alignment with program goals.
• Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of program activities in the region.
• Monitor progress towards program objectives, ensuring timely reporting of key outcomes.
• Build partnerships with local government, stakeholders, and partner organizations.
• Ensure compliance with USAID and JSI guidelines in program delivery.
• Support capacity building for regional staff and stakeholders to ensure sustainability of activities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Education, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience managing large-scale development projects, preferably in education or literacy.
• Knowledge of USAID regulations and experience working with donor-funded projects.
• Strong communication skills in English, and familiarity with local languages is an advantage.
