Description
JSI seeks a Literacy Specialist to support the design and implementation of targeted literacy interventions for the TLC Activity. This position involves developing evidence-based literacy curricula and training teachers to improve learning outcomes in early grades.
Responsibilities
• Design and implement literacy strategies tailored to program goals.
• Develop training materials and deliver workshops for teachers and education officers.

• Conduct regular monitoring and evaluation of literacy activities.

• Provide technical guidance on literacy interventions to stakeholders.

• Ensure integration of gender-sensitive approaches in literacy programming.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Literacy Development, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in designing and implementing literacy programs.

• Experience in working with evidence-based literacy strategies for young learners.
• Familiarity with USAID regulations and reporting standards.
