Job Description
The purpose of the role is to support the development of LDC’s Stronger Coffee Initiative (SCI) in Uganda.
Stronger Coffee Initiative (SCI) is a new LDC-led platform for collaborative investments in coffee sustainability consisting of 3 interrelated areas of action:
Farmer Prosperity (incl. Gender Equity and Youth),
Low Carbon Production, and
Regenerative Agriculture.
Leveraging LDC’s experience, global reach and supply chain expertise, the SCI builds coalitions and increases opportunities for our partners to invest in these 3 areas for a stronger future – for coffee, for people and for the environment. Our goal is to facilitate collaborative investments that lead to measurable impact and shared rewards to scale sustainability across the value chain.
