JOB DETAILS:
Overall purpose of the job.
• Purpose of the job is to operate a Boilers and Co-generation Auxiliaries as per respective shifts.
• Work at Co-generation and any other requirement as directed by the Cogen Manager through the Shift Superintendent.
• Any other tasks as directed by the Cogen Manager through the shift Superintendent.
Key Responsibilities
• Checking that all boilers and auxiliaries are in good state of operation. Boilers, Steam lines, PRDS, Fans, Bagasse carriers, Ash Water Clarifiers, Pumps, Air compressors, ESP, Ash handling system and any other equipment related to Boiler operations.
• Allocating jobs to subordinate and monitoring their performance.
• Managing staff and materials under your custody.
• Maintaining staff discipline and motivation.
• Operating the Boiler DCS system.
• Standing in for the supervisor – Boiler DCS in his absence.
