JOB DETAILS:
Duty Station: National Agricultural Research Laboratories-Kawanda Reports to: Director of Research
Salary Grade: UR4RS
Job Purpose
To develop and implement research projects and partnerships that further the scientific understanding of soils, cultivate awareness of soil health, and develop and promote the practical application of science-based practices to ensure sustainable soil productivity through the protection and rebuilding of working lands.
Minimum Academic Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture or Natural Resources
• PhD in soil science.
• The applicant should have conducted research and published as the first author and/or co-author of at least four articles in peer-reviewed journals.
• At least eight years’ experience in conducting agricultural research in soil science fields as evidenced by reports and publication records from a reputable Organisation.
