JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
To ensure the collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data to inform UCC’s strategic decisions, identify market trends, threats, and opportunities, and contribute to the development of appropriate regulatory policies and recommendations.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough market research and analysis to define market size, share, opportunities, and threats across all communication markets, and develop and implement regulatory surveillance and performance indices.
• Analyse consumer complaints to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement in service delivery and regulatory focus.
• Utilise tools such as Power BI and GIS for data visualisation, providing actionable insights through dashboards and reports.
• Provide policy recommendations based on market analysis and intelligence, contributing to the UCC’s policy development process and preparing and presenting regular intelligence reports to the Commission and stakeholders.
