JOB DETAILS:
Purpose:
Providing prompt and accurate legal advisory services to all departments of the company to ensure effective management of related risks embedded within the operations and functions of the company.
Key Result Areas:
• Legal reviews and draft contracts/documentation of company loan facilities
• Perform company due diligence/obligations
• Support the timely recovery of non-performing portfolio
• Company legal representation in courts of law
Key Accountabilities /Key tasks:
• Provide informed Legal Opinions to management
• Support the Company’s Contractual process to ensure that the Company’s interest is adequately prompted and protected and that all contractual engagements comply with relevant laws.
• Perform legal due diligence on loan files/facilities before approving and disbursement of loan funds.
