Responsible for: IT Officer-Compliance
Job purpose
To provide technical support in the auditing of gaming machines and operator systems for compliance with IT and software standards
Key duties and responsibilities
- Develop and review standards for supply, installation or adaptation of gaming and betting software.
- Develop protocols for analysing, testing and recommend gaming devices, equipment and software for approval
- Testing and certification of gaming equipment and software
- Conduct meter readings and reporting
- Conduct sensitization and stakeholder awareness engagements with gaming operators to improve compliance
- Maintain a register of gaming machines and equipment
- Identify security risks and develop remediation recommendations
- Evaluate and enhance information security controls and perform IT audits
