MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE
Applicant should be a holder of Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University.
A post graduate diploma in Legal practice is a MUST
Two (2) years relevant working experience.
DUTIES
The incumbent will be responsible to the Principal Settlement Officer while performing the following duties
- Provide legal advice/counsel on refugee protection.
- Provide legal assistance and follow up refugee cases in courts of law.
- Liaise with head of registration on related complaints.
- Conducts regular prison visits in Kampala and its environs to assess protection needs and concerns of refugees under custody.
