JOB DETAILS:
Overall
The Midwife will be responsible for providing comprehensive healthcare services to pregnant mothers, guiding them through the stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum. You will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure the well-being of both mothers and newborns, while also offering educational support and counseling.
Job Requirements And Competencies.
• A Diploma in midwifery
• Registered with the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council and holds current practicing license.
• Two years working experience as a Midwife.
• Effective problem solving and decision-making skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with all the multi-disciplinary team, patients and relatives.
• Competent knowledge and skills within general nursing care.
• Cognitive skills as related to the position.
