JOB DETAILS:
General Summary
Provides sample processing and data entry support and mentoring capacity. Works in the Data Entry and Processing areas to ensure that the samples received, processed have the accompanying Lab requisitions entered in a timely manner. Performs testing in all areas assigned areas of the laboratory. Demonstrates skill and knowledge on all laboratory test systems. Follows Good Laboratory Practices and quality requirements of the Core Lab
Key Responsibilities
Technical
• Performs processing of laboratory samples according to current protocols, procedures and quality assurance requirements, including PBMC isolation.
• Performs freezer sample storage and retrieval according to current protocols.
• Performs reagent preparation and equipment maintenance according to training and assignment.
• Performs laboratory tests on all scheduled benches as assigned according to current protocols, procedures and quality assurance requirements.
• Demonstrates skill and knowledge on all laboratory testing systems.
