JOB DETAILS:
JOB PURPOSE:
Perform a variety of laboratory tests by following the correct procedures to assist in diagnosing monitoring, treating and preventing disease.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in a busy laboratory
• Must be registered with_Allied Health Professional Council.
• Must have a valid Annual Practicing License.
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
• Knowledge of professional nursing principles, procedures and techniques
• Knowledge of medical and non-medical waste disposal procedures
• Knowledge of hygiene management and IPC protocol SKILLS
• Skilled in applying professional nursing care principles and procedures in the evaluation and treatment of patients
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A good command of both written and spoken English
