Purpose of the Job:
The Human Resource Officer shall assist in management of the human resource operations of the
University and provide administrative support to the Director Human Resource.
1. Qualifications, Experience and Competencies:
1. Master’s degree in Human Resource Management; Business Administration (HRM option);
Public Administration & Management; or Organisational Psychology (HRM option) from a recognized university or institution of higher learning.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or Social Sciences or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (HRM option).
3. A minimum of five (5) years of proven working experience in human resource management in a
reputable organisation.
4. Member of a professional human resource management body is an added advantage.
5. Knowledge of HR functions.
6. Understanding of labour laws and disciplinary procedures
