JOB DETAILS:
The GMT role is to support the IT team in ensuring that users receive appropriate IT assistance in a timely manner. The GMT shall work with the service desk team as a central communication unit that provide a single point of contact between the business and IT.
Key Accountabilities:
• Respond to users calls regarding IT related issues and forward request or incident to ISM or Applications team.
• Follow-up with ISM/Apps team on solution or work-around for users request or incident raised.
• Communicate to the business on any IT service issues, incidents, or request. Notify users on any IT service degradation or downtime.
• Manage IT Asset register for Uganda.
• Manage relationship between business and IT Suppliers.
• Assist the business in user support and any other IT related request or incident
