JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
The Financial Control Accountant will ensure the integrity and accuracy of the general ledger, prepare financial and management reports, assist in financial reporting, and ensure compliance with IFRS and PostBank Uganda policies.

Key Responsibilities
1. General Ledger and Reporting
o Custodian of the general ledger, chart of accounts, and repository for all financial and management information.
o Monitor all balance sheet and income statement movements, ensuring accurate reconciliations.

o Prepare monthly reconciliations and clear suspense accounts daily.
2. Fixed Asset Management
o Ensure fixed asset acquisitions are captured and properly reported.
