JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose
The Facilities Assistant I supports the efficient operation, maintenance, and management of the organization’s facilities, ensuring that the premises are safe, clean, and well-maintained for employees, clients, and visitors. This role contributes to creating a functional and welcoming environment, enabling the organization to operate effectively and meet its objectives.
Key Functions
1. Cleaning and Maintenance of Workspaces: Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors in offices, production areas, hallways, restrooms, and common areas. Dust and clean furniture, equipment, windows, walls, and other surfaces as required. Remove cobwebs and ensure all areas are clean and tidy at all times.
2. Restroom Cleaning and Stocking: Maintain cleanliness in restrooms by cleaning sinks, toilets, mirrors, and floors regularly. Restock restroom supplies such as soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and hand sanitizers.
