Kakira Outgrowers Development Fund (KORD) Experience, Skills and competencies:
is an NGO and an innovative partnership between Kakira Sugar Ltd and the Busoga Sugarcane Growers Association (BSGA) that manages the identification and delivery of infrastructure projects and financial services to Outgrowers communities. KORD’s initial focus is on (1) facilitating the provision of loans to Outgrower farmers; (ii) investing in healthcare facilities; (iii) investing in road infrastructure, and (iv) investing in projects to diversify the activities of Outgrower farmers.
