JOB DETAILS:
GOAL is currently seeking to hire a motivated and proactive individual to serve as Assistant Financial Controller joining our team in Kampala under the Young Africa Works Markets for Youth Programme. In this role, you will be assisting the Financial Controller in managing the finance department’s operations, oversee daily financial management activities and provide guidance to the Finance Team. If you have the right skills and experience, then this role is perfect for you!
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Essential Criteria
• Qualified CPA(U)/ACA/ACCA or CIMA.
• Advanced university degree in Business and/or Accounting with a recognized institution External and/or Internal Audit experience preferable
• Minimum of 7 years post-professional Qualification experience of which 5 must be in financial management of large-scale, complex, international development programs, and/or leading large consortium.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
