Duties and Responsibilities
- Identifies office requirements and brings them to the attention of the Manager Administrative Officer for action
- Ensures that office premises and furniture are tidy and cleaned regularly as required and other services such as reception, catering and refreshments, utilities and messenger services, are provided for
- Assists the Manager Administrative Officer in engaging service providers to carryout maintenance, repair and servicing work
- Monitors the availability of power and water and reports any associated problems to the Senior Administrative Officer
- Supervises contractors and service providers carrying out repairs on the premises or servicing machines and equipment
- Administers office refreshments and ensures that staff are served well
- Requisitions for office stationery through the Senior Administrative Officer
- Ensures dispatch and delivery of official mail and other parcels
