PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Essential Requirements
a) An Honor’s Bachelor’s degree or its equivalency of a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized academic institution.
b) At least three (03) years’ experience in electrical maintenance and repairs, electrical design, construction supervision and related works
c) An impeccable record of integrity and professionalism
Desirable Requirements
a) Membership / affiliation with Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers
Knowledge
a)Sound knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
b) Knowledge of procurement laws and regulations
c) Ability to assess, and plan for required resources
d) Skill in budgeting for required resources
e) Possess thorough knowledge of facilities low & medium voltage electrical distribution systems including transformers, MCC’s, generators, ATS’, UPS’ etc.
f) Possessing good knowledge of the latest NEC codes with ability to read and interpret design drawings and specifications
g) Knowledge in CAD
h) Advanced computer literacy (Word, spreadsheet, presentation)
