JOB DETAILS:
The key purpose of this job is to manage the operations of the logistics function at the Depot, ensuring that the warehousing and transportation function in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner, ensuring alignment with the T2 Logistics Strategy and the Distribution Process Optimisation process.
Key roles and responsibilities:
• Provide on the job coaching and mentoring to ensure continuous improvement and high performance culture
• Manage Employees in a manner that maintains a healthy industrial relations climate
• Manage rosters to ensure adequate operational coverage
• Manage Employee’s punctuality and attendance managed to meet operational requirements
• Develop engagement plan / ensure all direct repots have achievable and challenging KPI’s
• Ensure that all Employees are conversant with relevant business information, policies, processes and procedures
