Uganda Bureau of Statistics (UBOS) is a semi-autonomous agency of Government responsible for maintenance, coordination, supervising and monitoring of the National Statistical System to ensure the collection, analysis and dissemination of standardised statistical information. The Bureau is also mandated as the principal official statistics producing agency in the country.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Initiate the design, review and implement advocacy and outreach strategy for the Bureau.
- Organize regular user satisfaction inquires for UBOS statistical products and services
- Draft advocacy and outreach materials and messages.
- Mobilize and sensitize stakeholders for participation in statistical activities in the NSS.
- Plan and organize the Bureau’s participation in national events to increase visibility for UBOS’ products.
