POST: REFUGEE STATUS INTERVIEWING OFFICER

AGE : 23 – 45 YEARS

REPORTS TO: PRINCIPLE SETTLEMENT COMMANDANT

DURATION: 05 MONTHS (RENEWABLE)

SALARY SCALE: PROJECT SCALE

LOCATION: KAMPALA

NUMBER OF POSTS: 05

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 Applicants should be Ugandans holding an honors Degree in law or Political science or Social Science or Social Work and Social Administration.

1. Post Graduate Diploma in the related field shall be added advantage.
2. Should have computer knowledge (Microsoft Word and Excel)

DUTIES:

1. Conduct country of origin information gathering relating to given Asylum seekers.
2. Conduct comprehensive interviews for asylum seekers and assess their situation.
3. Profile and refer persons with Special needs.
4. Compiling and organize asylum seeker interviews records for REC/RAB
5. Perform any other official duties assigned by senior management.
