Job Purpose

Undertake the general administration of the hall of residence

Key, Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Perform the duties of a Vote Controller in the hall of residence;
  2. Plan and budget for students’ governance activities;
  3. Maintain decent accommodation for halls of residence;
  4. Maintain students’ discipline in the halls of residence;
  5. Guide students on a regular basis;
  6. Responsible for payment of students’ allowances;
  7. Responsible for collection of the various categories of funds paid by students to the University (caution money, subscription to student’s guild, student’s hall government, games union, identity cards) and any other money payable by students which the warden may be directed to take charge of;
  8. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the supervisor

Required Qualifications

  1. A Master’s degree in a field related to Administration or Management;
  2. Honour’s Bachelor’s degree in Education or Social Sciences or Arts or SWASA or…
