About the Company:
The Electoral Commission of Uganda, also Uganda Electoral Commission, is a constitutionally established organ of the Government of Uganda, whose mandate is to “organise and conduct regular, free and fair elections” in the country, in an efficient, professional and impartial manner. It was established under Article 60 of the Constitution of the Republic of Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Administering all electoral activities in the sub-county;
- Conducting voter education in the Sub-County;
- Issuing out Voter Location Slips;
- Updating the Voters Register;
- Assist in mobilizing people to turn up and participate in electoral activities:
- Responsible for the conduct of nominations, campaigns and polling day activities;
- Making election activity reports to the Returning Officer;
