JOB ROLE/ PURPOSE:
Implement strategies geared towards minimizing Revenue leakages in the natural resources sector and enhancing voluntary compliance with Tax laws, policies and regulations
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1.Conduct compliance audits on natural resource sector players in order to identify revenue leakages and take actions to enhance voluntary compliance
a) Review taxpayers’ profiles and sector performance data to understand their businesses and assess risk
b)Participate in the development of audit plans to guide the audit process
c)Contact taxpayers, communicate the intention to audit and furnish taxpayers with information about the audit e.g. areas and period of the audit
