Overall Job Responsibilities
The Malaria Technical Officer is a full-time position based in one of two regions: West Nile (Arua) or Acholi (Gulu). S/he will be responsible for technical support to districts and health facilities in any of the two regions of choice above. The MTO will support the review of malaria indicators and use the targeted approach to mentor health workers about the guidelines for malaria case management including the VHTs who are implementing Integrated Community case management (ICCM).
