JOB ROLE/ PURPOSE:
Conduct corporate research in order to inform tax administration and policy initiatives.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Update and maintain the Organization’s databank and generate data reports that provide statistics to improve planning and decision-making for the tax system and the economy.
- a) Update and Maintain the URA databank to facilitate easy access and extraction of critical URA data.
- b) Compute exchange rates to facilitate tax collection
- c) Compile the Annual Data Book that provides statistics on the tax system and the economy to guide decision-making
- d) Develop the Data Management report to highlight the status of data management in URA
- e) Respond to data requests to enable effective data exchange and client satisfaction
- Collect, and analyze data and prepare tax models and reports that guide management on the projected revenue performance for the financial year.
