Our mission is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles and sustainable transportation solutions, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future. We are an international team in Kampala who work closely together to develop and manage our e-mobility products and solutions.

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our tech team with min. 5 years in a similar position. You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the development and implementation of our apps, platforms and systems, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within scope. Your expertise in project management, combined with a strong technical background, will be crucial to driving the success of our e-mobility solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Lead and manage technical projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet business requirements and deadlines.
• Team Leadership: Supervise and support the development and engineering team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

• Planning and Execution: Develop detailed project plans, assign tasks, and monitor progress. Adjust plans as needed to ensure project success.
• Stakeholder Communication: Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates.

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all deliverables meet high-quality standards and adhere to best practices.

• Problem Solving: Identify potential risks and issues, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including requirements, specifications, and progress reports.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Essential Hard Skills:
• Project Management Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in tech project management.
• Technical Background: Background in software development and strong understanding of backend development, cloud integration, and data analytics.

• Cloud Knowledge: Experience with Firebase, Google Cloud, NodeJs, React.

• DevOps Understanding: Basic knowledge of DevOps practices.
• Data Analytics: Experience with data pipeline development and reporting tools.
