Sports Officer job at National Council of Sports

JOB DETAILS:
The Sports Officer will assist in carrying out technical/administrative activities of the Council.

Reports To: Senior Sports Officer
Duty Station: Lugogo Sports Complex/Kampala

Key Outputs:
1. Assist in conducting seminars and courses for the general sports community.
2. Annual improvement reports of games, programs, and various sports disciplines drafted.

3. Liaise with UOC, Boxing, Motor Sports, Bodybuilding, Shooting, Lawn Tennis, Table Tennis, and projects coordinated.
4. Assist in preparing work plans and budgets.
5. Coordinating various sports activities and programs.
6. Identifying, developing, and promoting sports talents.

7. Availing sports and games facilities and equipment

8. Determining the status of sports facilities and equipment.
9. Sensitizing and mobilizing sports and games stakeholders on the development of sports and games.

10. Compile and maintain National Federations/Associations database.
11. Liaise with respective National Federations and Associations.

Person Specifications:
Qualifications:
• Should have an Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science or Physical Education from a recognized university.
