Security Manager job at Camusat Uganda

JOB DETAILS:
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide support to Operations in Regard to Security and Risk Mitigation, and in accordance with the Customer Service Level Agreement (SLA) for the provision of Excellent Security services:
• Supervise and coordinate Site Security service providers in accordance with Service Provision Agreement (SPA).

• Match Security service Allocation to the level of threat or Security risk at Hand

• Establish good communication and goodwill with informal leaders and relevant members of local community
• Coordinate the day to day Security related issues including Security strategic planning

• Manage the development and implementation of Security SOP’s
• Ensure all patrolling, inspection and security duties are performed so as to mitigate security Risks

• Monitor and maintain Security performance standards and ensure action is taken when standards are not met
• Plan and coordinate emergency drills
• Oversee the security unit including deployment of security personnel by Site security service providers
• Plan and perform leadership and management training for all senior security officer

• xPlan out site security audits in order to eliminate potential theft and Risks
• Check and analyze all incoming reports from Customer, site security service providers and other departments so as to formalize action plans
• Ensure that all CAMUSAT staff as well as security contractor staff are adhering to CAMUSAT security procedures and protocols

• Play a role of Liaison officer between CAMUSAT and security service provider
• Coordinate with the local investigator in crimes & incident handling and investigations
• Prepare security plan for specific events (temporarily installations, swap of personnel)
• Manage and coordinate site access protocols in accordance with Client SLA’s
• Attend court proceedings on behalf of the company.
• Required Skills & Knowledge
• Must have a wide knowledge and Expertise Training in security operatives
• Five and above years of experience in security organizations is a must
• Ability to handle paperwork and fill out reports for management
• Good communication capability and ability to monitor all activities happening inside the establlishment at all times
• Effectiveness in providing answers to any question and concern raised by top management, customers and staff in regard to security matters
• Planning knowledge and attention to details

Interpersonal and management skills
• Computer skills
• Ability to coorinate multiple projects
• Good time management and accurate reporting skills

Initial Training and Required Experiences
• Bachelor’s degree in any disciplione with special training in security operations as an added advantage
• Min 2 years of college with speciality, experience or training in law enforcement
• Experience in managerial positions is an advantage

Key Performance Indicators
• Minimal losses on company and Client equipment due to security lapses
• Prompt and appropriate reporting (Written and Verbal)
• Effective communication with clients
• Emergency security actions Taken.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
