JOB DETAILS:
Hydroponic Farms Uganda is a pioneering agricultural company dedicated to revolutionizing farming through sustainable hydroponic techniques. We specialize in producing high-quality, pesticide-free vegetables and herbs using innovative, soil-less farming methods. As we expand our operations, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Projects Manager to join our team and drive the successful execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
• Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and closing of hydroponic farm projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

• Resource Allocation: Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of production.

• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.

• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address challenges proactively.
• Reporting: Prepare detailed project reports, including progress updates, financial summaries, and impact assessments.

Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Agribusiness, Project Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the agricultural or hydroponics sector.

Skills:
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

• Knowledge of hydroponic systems and sustainable farming practices is highly desirable.
• Certifications: PMP or other relevant project management certifications are an advantage.

Salary and Benefits:
• Salary: UGX 3.6M per month
