JOB DETAILS:
The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) is a statutory body established under the Uganda Communications Act 2013 to regulate Telecommunications, Data communications, Broadcasting, Postal and Radio communications and Infrastructure. To achieve this mandate, UCC seeks to recruit individuals with proven skills and competencies to fill the vacant position below to assist the Commission implement its mandate.

Reports to: Commission Secretary/Director Legal Affairs

Duty Station: UCC House, Bugolobi

Job Purpose:
To provide leadership to the Procurement & Disposal Unit of UCC and manage all procurement and disposal activities in accordance with the UCC policies and the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act regulations.

Education and Professional Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration (majoring in Procurement), Finance, or a related.
• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement and Logistics Management, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supplies (CIPS)
