Head of Marketing job at FINCA

JOB DETAILS:
Job Description:
As the Head of Marketing, you will play a key leadership role in driving FINCA’s marketing strategy and building its brand presence in Uganda. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of marketing, including  digital marketing, advertising, public relations, and  communications. Your work will ensure that FINCA’s products and services are communicated effectively to the target audience, with the aim of expanding the customer base and increasing brand recognition.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute marketing strategies: Lead the creation of innovative and cost-effective marketing strategies that align with FINCA’s business objectives and goals.
• Brand Management: Build and maintain a strong, positive brand image across all platforms and media channels. Ensure consistent messaging in line with FINCA’s mission and values.

• Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing campaigns, including social media management, SEO, SEM, and email marketing to increase online visibility and engagement.

• Market Research and Insights: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitors. Use insights to develop data-driven marketing strategies.
• Campaign Management: Plan and execute targeted campaigns to promote financial products and services. Manage budgets and timelines to ensure successful campaign delivery.

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with product teams, sales, and customer service departments to ensure seamless communication and integration of marketing efforts.

• Team Leadership and Development: Lead a dynamic marketing team, providing guidance and support for professional development. Inspire creativity and drive results.
• Public Relations: Foster strong media relationships and engage in public relations activities to position FINCA as a trusted, community-oriented brand.

Qualifications:
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional marketing certification would be an advantage.
• Experience: At least 5-7 years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record in leadership roles. Experience in the financial services or microfinance sector is a plus.
• Skills:
o Strong knowledge of digital marketing platforms and tools.
o Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
o Creative and results-driven mindset.
o Ability to manage large-scale campaigns and budgets.
• Personal Attributes: Strong interpersonal skills, proactive, adaptable to change, and passionate about brand development.

Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
