Reports to: Managing Director

Job Purpose:
To develop, implement, and manage the Bank’s social impact strategy. This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including employees, community partners, and industry leaders, to drive initiatives that align with our corporate values and enhance our social and environmental footprint. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate social responsibility (CSR), sustainability, and community engagement, with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve measurable social impact goals.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration/Commerce, or related field from an accredited institution.
• A master’s degree in any business-related field.
• 12 years’ experience in banking, 5 years of which must have been at Senior management level.
• Member of a recognized professional body.
• Knowledge of current trends & practices in business and management.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Knowledge of money markets, equity trading, margin trading, and other capital market instruments.
• Ability to take an enterprise and thought leadership approach.

• Proficiency in business acumen, marketing & business development.

• Excellent coaching skills – ability to recognize and implement effective mentoring, coaching, and performance management.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Conflict resolution skills and negotiation persuasion and reporting capabilities.
• Experience in compliance frameworks in a sensitive and regulated industry.
• Strong relationship management skills.
• Leadership ability – facilitation of a conducive environment where staff can learn, develop, and share knowledge.
