JOB DETAILS:

Reports to: Managing Director

Job Purpose:
To safeguard the organization’s information by developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive information security system and compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. This includes securing the organization’s data, systems, and infrastructure while promoting a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Degree in business administration or a technology-related field, or equivalent work- or education-related experience.
• A master’s degree in a business-related field.
• 12 years’ experience in banking, 3 years of which must have been at senior management level.
• Demonstrated experience and success in senior leadership roles in a technology environment, managing IT security and compliance frameworks.

• Proven knowledge and application of legal and regulatory requirements, including industry standards and frameworks such as GDPR, ISO 27001, ITIL, COBIT/Risk IT, and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cybersecurity Framework.

• Possession of certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or other similar credentials.
