Kinyara Sugar Limited invites applications from both female and male candidates for Apprenticeship training, leading to City & Guilds Diploma qualifications in any one of the five different Engineering Trades, namely:
3. Machining, Fitting

Apprenticeship Program
The Apprenticeship program lasts three and a half years. Candidates who successfully pass the interviews will initially be offered a one-year contract. This contract will be renewed annually if the Apprentice successfully completes the year.

Qualification Requirements
Applicants should fulfill the following minimum requirements:
• Must have sat O-LEVEL NOT MORE THAN THREE YEARS AGO at the time of applying and must have obtained a minimum of CREDIT PASSES in the following subjects: ENGLISH LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICS, and PHYSICS or PHYSICAL SCIENCE. A credit in TECHNICAL DRAWING will have an added advantage.

• Must be NOT MORE THAN 22 YEARS at the time of applying.

• Candidates who have good passes in MATHEMATICS, PHYSICS, or BUILDING MECHANICAL DRAWING at A-Level will have an added advantage.

• NB: Candidates who are in possession of certificate or Diploma qualifications in any Engineering trade should not apply.
