JOB DETAILS:
Position Summary:
provide administrative support for the implementation of the DREAMS project through planning, and acquisition of all project resources, equipment, and materials required to ensure that the AGYW receive a primary package and secondary/ contextual services that will empower the AGYW to be Determined, Resilient, AIDS-Free, Mentored and Safe. Provide support to ensure that there’s full documentation of program results.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
• Coordinate and implement programs and projects within the sub-county.
• Support roll-out of economic services (VSLA, Financial Literacy and Support DREAMS project to enroll and assess program eligible beneficiaries.
• Manage and allocate resources, including budget and personnel.
• Build and maintain relationships with local stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and partners.
• Monitor and report on program progress and performance.
• Identify and address challenges and opportunities within the sub-county.
• Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure alignment and effectiveness.
• Represent the organization in local forums and meetings.
• Conduct field visits and ensure the AGYWS receive services in their respective age groups.
• Supervise the completion of curriculum based interventionsi,eNMN Stepping stones ,journeys plus,
• Work with health facilities to ensure clinical services HTS,PrEP, STI are offered to the AGYWS in the informal safe spaces ,through supporting outreaches.
• Ensure Model and community safe spaces are well maintained.
• Ensure referrals and linkages to AGYWS for Vocational Training)
• and linkages and referrals for the AGYWS are done and feedback is documented.
Required Education, Knowledge and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., public administration, social sciences).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in program coordination, management, or a related field.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of project management principles and tools.
• Certification in program management or a related field.
Other desired attributes:
• Experience working with local communities and stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with local government structures and operations.
• Ability Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines
• At least three years’ experience working with adolescents especially girls.
Physical Ability:
• A ability to reside in the rural areas of Kayunga
• Travel frequently within the sub-county and occasionally to other locations.
• Work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including government officials, community leaders, and partners.
• Supervisory Controls: The individual will serve under the immediate supervision of the Field Coordinator (DREAMS)
