Job Summary
Contribute to digital education content development for the Ugandan School Curriculum.

Company Description:
Pic-Ed is an EdTech service provider that develops digital content for learning and teaching. It is currently working on a youth skilling project.

Job Description:
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Secondary School Science and Sociology curriculum.
• Close coordination with different stakeholders, Analysis of requirements, and development of quality & creative content to improve contact engagement.

• Strong knowledge of Science and Sociology subjects for the mentoring team, and for creating quality and error-free content.
• Need to manage the day-to-day operations with instructional designer and Content developer with 0 defects and perfect quality of content.

• Develop the lesson plans through which we conceptualize Edubee Online videos
• Develop story scripts, videos, interactive content, and lessons to ensure all content meets pedagogical objectives and is age-appropriate.
• Collaborate with the internal team to develop fresh and creative ways of developing material.
• Research grade-appropriate material, children’s literature.
• Participate in rigorous peer review processes to improve the quality and pedagogical creativity of the product.
• Participate in multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.

• Develop engaging study material and Analyze, update, and refine existing online content.
• Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design
• Develop content for Essential Life Skills for 21st Century learners
• Assist in developing content for teachers and moderators to teach with student-centric pedagogy.
• Manage and work on the content inventory sheet and drive management.

• Master’s degree in Education and Sciences
• Strong relevant experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and drive management.
• Should be well versed with basic widely used applications and cloud software (Google Drive / Microsoft OneDrive and DropBox)
• Candidates from an EdTech or Teaching background are preferable.
