PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking food while ensuring the highest quality standards.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
RESPONSIBILITIES UNIQUE TO THE ROLE

• To ensure the kitchen meals area, kitchen towels, utensils are cleaned and stored away after each meal to ensure tidiness and organization of the area. 10%
• To clean, maintain and disinfect the kitchen and Office area to prevent the spread of diseases among staff. 10%
• To assist the HR team, organize items that are required for the meetings and any other gatherings to ensure smooth running of the business 5%
• To Inform the supervisor of any item that has ran out in the course of performing your duties to ensure smooth running of the daily operations. 5%
• To ensure meals are prepared in a hygienic manner and served by 1pm while ensuring equity. 40%
• To plan, budget, suggest on kitchen supplies to enhance the budgetary process. 10%
• To ensure proper accountability and usage of all kitchen supplies while working within the budget framework. 10%
• Any other roles added from time to time in relation to departmental objectives 10%
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
• O`level or its equivalent.
• Valid National ID
• Catering or certificate in hotel management is an added advantage.
Experience
• 1 Years’ experience in a similar role in an Office setting.
Languages
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Work Hours: 8
Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: High School
